The Dominican Republic is the largest island in the Caribbean and has a huge selection of resorts, making it a fantastic choice for last minute trips. For a spontaneous trip to the Caribbean during the school-holiday weeks of Christmas, New Year. Easter and peak month of January, we're on hand to help you bag a bargain. You’ll have have the best luck with late-deals during the low season between May and November, and get the very best bargains in the hurricane season of September and October. The Maldives is warm and sunny year-round making it a wonderful destination to visit nearly anytime in the year. Similar to the Caribbean, the best weather is between November and April but this is also the busiest time of the year so expect higher prices. May to October is considered the wet season with increased rain and sometimes strong winds. The weather is still mostly sunny and hot, and any bad weather is generally brief, quickly followed by sunshine.
