This was our first visit to Rhodes, and we will definitely return! The weather was perfect: 24-26°C, blue skies and sunshine every day. It was cooler in the evenings, so needed a cardigan/sweater, but this was perfect for a UK half term break. The hotel staff were all helpful, polite and friendly. We stayed in one of the villas as wanted a separate but connecting room for our kids. It was clean and comfortable, and we loved the welcome basket! The shower was very good (excellent temperature and water pressure), and the jacuzzi bath was a plus! We were only 5 mins stroll from the beach which was clean and covered in small pebbles (but not painful to walk on). Caught the bus to and from Lindos one morning to visit the Acropolis there (15 mins). Definitely worth a trip early in the day before it gets too hot. Sadly no donkeys as we visiting on a national holiday, but entry was free because it was a national holiday! The food had good variety, and would recommend the hotel restaurants too. The mini golf area was a little worn out and could do with a revamp. However kids club had an excellent team, although not many children attended as it was the last week of the season. The mini disco was great (& again the entertainers were fab with my little boy who didn't want to do the organised fun, but free-style dancing...) I had a massage at the spa from Georgia - highly recommended and I felt amazing afterwards. Thank you Georgia! The spa pool was a little tired in places, and some of the jets didn't work. We also used the hotel's taxi service to and from the airport which made the trip really easy, and would recommend this. Overall an amazing place to stay: brilliant staff and cleaners, gorgeous weather and location, beautiful hotel (with only two points on the golf and spa that will no doubt be fixed in the closed season). If it had been open longer, we would have stayed another two nights (almost to the end of the UK half term holiday! Please stay open longer!). We'll just have to return another time...
