We went for a week at the end of October. A lot of the staff were not friendly, maybe because it was shutting for the season the day after we left. We arrived really late at night so went straight to bed. The next day housekeeping didnt come, which was fine by me as we didnt need anything, however at 5 pm, my door opened and a guy walked in. The bathroom is open plan and my grandson was naked in the bathroom, I only had a swimming costume on and my granddaughter had only just made herself decent. He stood there staring until I asked what was going on, he said 'housekeeping'. I told him I didnt want housekeeping at 5 in the afternoon and he left. I complained to reception, however, on our last morning my door opened again when we were all still in bed. I had it double locked from inside. It was very concerning that staff could walk in any time. I assumed it was housekeeping again as they slammed the door really hard when they saw we were in bed. This was about 8 am and checkout was not until much later. We had a swim up room but the water was like ice. It must have been temperature controlled to be super freezing as it was far too cold to be swam in. The pools were freezing too. There was only 1 pool that was bearable. The food was OK, however, the fruit selection was really poor. No melon whatsoever, just tinned fruit and pineapple and if you were late to breakfast, sometimes, nothing! The beach is awful, large pebbles and clay. We went to Lindos a couple of times which is lovely but very expensive to travel to and the reception aren't particularly helpful. We also had a major problem getting the water hot. Apparently there is a knack to it but both my son (who had a room a couple of doors down) and myself, had to call for help as we couldn't get hot water. Luckily the weather was fantastic.
