Situated at the most privileged location of Fira, on the cliffs of the caldera with unlimited views to the famous volcano, the sunset and the whole island, only a few steps away from the centre of Fira, but still with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, this hotel is the place to stay in Santorini. It is only 15-minute drive to Santorini (Thira) International Airport. Renovated in 2019 with exclusive materials, minimal design, upgraded services and rich amenities for those who want to enjoy privacy, high class services, comfort and luxury, always with this majestic scenery from every spot of the hotel. The bar-restaurant is open all day serving delicious dishes and signature cocktails. The spa is open also all day offering body and faces therapies, make up, hair styling and more. The heated infinity pool with the pool bar in the water is the place to spend most of your day enjoying amazing cocktails combined with the unlimited caldera and sunset views. **Note** for winter 2020 season: Our hotel wil remain open from the 1st of November 2020 'till the 15th of January 2021 for the 2020 winter season but with some facilites not operational. Our bar, restuarant and room serivce will remain inactive for the whole winter period, our swimming pool will remain full but not heated as temperatures go low and cannot keep the water warm, and finally our spa facilites are not working in-house but we can always arrange a massage therapy in your suite. Santorini is a gorgeous place even in the winter!”

Views are just incredible whether you’re poolside or on your deck by your room. Customer service was fantastic, everyone there was very helpful and made you feel welcome/comfortable. They even bring you out breakfast right to your room so you can eat/drink coffee during the sunrise The pool attendant and bartender were also wonderful to talk to. Nothing like having a stellar cocktail in the pool with a view of the sunset while relaxing house music plays on the speakers. It was an overall wonderful stay, and we had great conversations with them. Seriously order some of those cocktails, some of the best ones I’ve had in Fira! Be prepared to walk up some steps to the Main Street though, Athina is on the lower level compared to the other hotels (still very high on the cliff with a perfect view of caldera) but the porter service is always available to help with bags

Athina luxury suites was amazing! Our room was modern, spacious, clean and very private with amazing views. The breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully on our private balcony/ terrace . The drinks were exquisite and the staff from cleaning, bar tenders, servers, front office, everyone was super friendly and accommodating. They go the extra mile to make your stay their top priority.The staff exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to make us feel special. I highly recommend staying at this property while in Santorini. The location is amazing with a short walk to other restaurants or clubs, with amazing night life!

Athina luxury suites was amazing! The room was very clean and modern. The food at the restaurant was delicious and presented beautifully. The drinks were exquisite and the staff from cleaning, bar tenders, servers, front office, everyone was super nice and accommodating. That make your happiness their top priority. We had an issue with our AC, which for this property is not common. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to solve the issue and make us feel well compensated. I highly recommend staying at this property while in Santorini. Close enough to walk to other restaurants or clubs, with amazing night life!

Fabulous. Period. The deluxe suite is one of the best views we’ve seen anywhere in the world - the sea and the town are picture-worthy both day and night. Make sure to catch the sunset. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cool w every amenity. Pool, great with a view! Staff are hospitable and helpful…“of course” was always the answer to any question or request. The food and drinks were yummy. Ask the bartender at the pool for one of his original drinks. Thank you! We will return!

Dream vacation

From the moment we arrived, the staff took care of her every need. Their shuttle picked us up from the airport on time. They helped us bring our bags down to the hotel as it’s a long walk down the steps and believe me you want them to help you with your bags. I had arranged a honeymoon package and the room was decorated nicely with candles and flowers and a cake and some champagne. It was very beautiful. Thank you for doing such a good job with that. During a week long stay The only issues we had were only when we messed up and forgot to order our breakfast. Even with that they sent reminders so that we would miss out. The room was just the size we needed for two people. It was beautiful inside and we had a hot tub on our balcony. Waking up every morning to view of the Caldera was just unbelievable. We will never forget this trip. I can’t recommend Athena Suites enough. Thank you for giving us such great memories.
