Astro Palace

This is a fantastic hotel. We went here for the last leg of our honeymoon and were not disappointed! The food, service and all staff seemed to make it their mission to make us feel special. Given how popular Santorini is, this is a rare gem on the island. Everything we wanted to do in Santorini the staff helped with, finding us the best restaurants/showing us the best hikes/guiding us to a truly fantastic day on a boat which collected from the hotel! I would highly recommend the Caldera boat trip they booked for us (morning slot) as was truly breathtaking and brilliant! The hotel is super clean/comfortable and the main pool is so beautiful with large unreserved cabanas, I would recommend getting their early if you are doing a sunbathing day as the majority of people have the same idea. Most of the suites have private pools, however, these are quite small, and are for dipping in rather than swimming. A perfect spot for couples, would not recommend for kids. My only qualm, is it's a tiny bit set back from the main roads into Santorini, which I felt gave us peace and quiet, but also meant, if you are walkers like us you have to cross a very busy road to get to the main restaurants. If you are planning on using Taxis/getting a car - you will have no trouble whatsoever.

This is Definity one of the best hotels I have stayed in. cant fault anything. Staff was super friendly and helpul with a issue we had with third party for our Boat tour. Room was absolutely breath taking with its own very decent size private pool. Will deffo go back to it

We wait all year for our vacation and our greatest wish is to have an epic time.  We want to experience exceptional luxury and personalized service during our stay.  This is why our choice of hotel is extremely important.  I personally do extensive research on location of hotel; amenities offered and of course review of the resort.  I was so elated when I arrived to Astro Palace and Elpida showed me to my room.  The room exceeded my expectations.  It was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and the view OMG.  I had a balcony and a breathtaking view of the ocean and the gorgeous pool.  The next factor to an impressive and memorable vakay is the staff at the hotel.  This team works tirelessly to create a haven where the guests can relax and thoroughly enjoy themselves.  It really helps knowing that there is an onsite restaurant and oh yes room service.   I want to personally thank the team of hospitality people at the hotel for adding that extra special everything resulting in unforgettable memories during my stay.  Kostas, Dimitri and Ahmet food and beverage team could not be nicer. Facts. Thanks you guys for outstanding service and the best cocktails on the island of Santorini.  When you go to this magical place, be sure to meet Kostas.  He is superlative in describing all the food on the menu as well as the delish and incredible breakfast the hotel serves each morning.  And yes it can be included in the room rate.  It just doesn’t get any better than this.  Also Kostas is extremely knowledgeable on restaurant recommendations.  He is amazing and we were so happy and lucky to have met him. My room was situated on the first floor . The bathroom was so cool in design with all these sweet features. You can take a bath, rain shower or handheld shower. So very cool. Thank you Tatiana for making my room sparkle. If there was an Oscar for cleanliness, she wud receive a lifetime award. OMG. so deep clean. The pool and the atmosphere of Astro Palace is perfection in itself.  However it is the staff that contributes makes this place so amazing and magical.  Now the jewels of this hotel are the girls at reception.  They will not stop until all guests are completely satisfied and all smiles.  They will enhance your experience with all that they do.   I didn’t want to leave these girls are all amazing.  Elpida, Katerina and Marilena thank you for being so nice and accommodating.  They are so super special.  I will have to say that Elpida made my stay at the Astor Palace every bit of specialness.  Thank you Elpida you are truly a princess of everything good. And the other greatness of this hotel is the location.  A sweet short walk to the center of Fira, yet far enough not to hear all the hustle and bustle of the night life.  We love that sound but sometimes you need a teeny bit of quiet.  I can’t say enough of the hotel, beautiful and a 5 star staff.

It was a wonderful experience at this hotel. Elpida made contact before we even travelled across to help and guide us. On arrival, we found Ahmed waiting to receive us. It is an incredible family run hotel and the staff love and take pride in everything that they do. Elpida and Katarina had been wonderful and helped us book various excursions. Nothing was too much trouble for them or any other staff. The chef was so incredible and had regular interactions with all the guests. Kosta at the bar was equally very attentive. We received an invite to the end of season party organised by the hotel and what a party it was! I believe the hotel owners have created a very nurturing working environment for all. Many thanks and look forward to revisiting soon!

Lovely resort with beautifully appointed rooms. Stunning outdoor and indoor areas and pool. Fabulous location a short walk from the main area of Fira and the bus station with an easy to use local bus system. Gracious and helpful staff. An excellent breakfast with much variety hot and cold.
