These months fall into Bali’s low tourist season, meaning that accommodation, excursion and flight prices are considerably lower compared to other times of the year. The lack of tourism during these months allows you to explore and enjoy the island in its entirety.

January is the wettest month, with a hot, sultry climate. Temperatures are generally between 20 and 30 °C, with up to six hours of sunshine a day. Although there is around 340 mm of rain during this month, this should not prevent visitors from enjoying dynamic excursions in this region.
Small rain pours continue through February in Bali, but the country stays warm and humid with comfortable temperatures in the mid-20s °C. It's notable that the rain showers are often short and typically fall towards the afternoons or evenings. February is a great time to explore Bali’s luscious landscapes and indulge in the restaurant culture.
In March, average temperatures rise to around 27 °C with a hot climate, idyllic to explore Bali’s exotic beaches. May marks the start of the peak season in Bali with a dry and hot climate. Average temperatures reach 30 °C in June and you can relish scorching sunshine up to ten hours per day. August is warm and sunny, with average daily temperatures of 29°C. August in Bali offers perfect conditions for a day at the beach, with crystal-clear waters for snorkelling, swimming and paddleboarding. The rain may fall in short, spontaneous bursts, but that won't stop you from taking part in outdoor excursions, such as volcano hikes or the Sanur village festival.
In September, the average temperature is 27°C and the climate is pleasant. Occasional showers may occur, but the weather conditions are idyllic for water sports such as jet skiing and windsurfing. September is generally an ideal time to visit this tropical region, explore its ancient temples and take part in the Bali Coffee Festival.
You can expect eight hours of sunshine, with mostly sunny days and some rain in Bali in October. Marking the last month of the high season, rainfall begins to increase, resulting in six rainy days during the month. Rest assured, the showers tend to be short and fall between the afternoon and evening. October in Bali is an excellent time to dive with manta rays at Nusa Penida and explore the region's lush green rice terraces.
November is the first month of the rainy season in Bali, which means that thunderstorms can appear with an increased risk of rain.
