Aqua Blu Boutique Hotel & Spa

What a place, I don’t know where to start! First of all the hotel team - ultimately it’s the staff who made our experience absolutely incredible. We’ve stayed in some fab hotels but have never had such consistent and friendly service - they could not have made us feel more comfortable. Every single person in the team is incredibly warm, friendly, attentive, always going the extra mile, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy being there. Room cleaning and maintenance was top-notch too and we enjoyed the lovely hand written notes they left every day. In terms of the property itself, it’s immaculately clean and the design is awesome. They’ve really thought about how to provide shade but keep it light, they’ve thought about how to separate areas but keep them connected. It’s a masterpiece that looks beautiful but also works really well. The beach just across the road is a private beach for guests, it has waiting staff who can get you drinks and food and will provide towels too. There’s a lot of thought gone in here too - there is a small bar so they can serve most drinks immediately, there is a proper building housing toilets and there’s music but they don’t line the beach with speakers so you can choose to listen to it or be away from it. We went in August and never had a problem getting a lounger, it feels like there’s enough for every room! The pool at the hotel is beautiful too, I don’t know if it’s heated or the Greek sun is working it’s magic but in August it was a great temperature, good for cooling off in but not cold. We read a lot about the wind before we came, I’m not sure if we got lucky or not but it’s not a problem. There was a breeze most days but it’s not invasive or whipping up sand. The hotel is also very cleverly designed with glass panels to not obstruct the views but to stop the wind if it does appear. Could not recommend Aqua Blu highly enough, you won’t regret booking here!

The hotel provides for a perfect ambiance with nice rooms and a very fine restaurant. The Spa is an absolute must. With its private beache and crystal clear waters, the hotel is one of the most recommendable outings for lovers of the sea. This in combination with an outstanding and very friendly staff makes your stay an unforgettable experience!

I have never written a review before but felt I really had to. From the moment we walked into the pristine stylish reception there was a cool calm atmosphere. The staff have been amazing from beginning to end. Kostas and Paris, the managers, make everyone feel their holiday is really special: My husband is not easily pleased, in fact can be grumpy 😊however he has loved every minute of this holiday we can’t thank the staff enough. Our room 401 was beautiful, clean, modern with amazing sea views. The food was outstanding, themed evenings were held if that’s your bag. We need to give a shout out to the beach and pool staff, so courteous and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this classy oasis, a short taxi or a stroll away to Kos town. Well done team Aqua Blu❤️

This is our second trip here Staff to a person are super helpful and positive. It is peaceful luxury and I struggle to find anything really to criticise. The rooms are modern elegant , great spa and gym, wifi throughout even way out on the beach! Cannot grumble

We had a lovely honeymoon here in August. The hotel is very smart and clean. The pool area is brilliant with plenty of sunbeds at any time of day! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, especially Klaudi, Elias and Captain Alvin! Breakfast was a buffet but also an a la carte menu and the food was always delicious. We were warmly greeted by the hotel manager each morning. I would recommend the BBQ night, although it may seem expensive, the food and ambience is definitely worth it! In terms of location, the hotel is around a 30 minute walk into Kos town. There isn't a great deal to do in Lambi itself. Lots of tourists hire bicycles to cycle into the town you can also get Escooters that are dotted around the island using the "Hopp" app. I would also recommend hiring a car to see different parts of the island. There are some lovely beaches and we particularly enjoyed visiting the thermal springs on one evening.
