Excellent two weeks spent at the Apsara. If you're wanting a quiet relaxing resort this is perfect for you! There are a few tripping hazards with lots of little steps everywhere so watch your step! Emine, Guest Services, is amazing as are all the staff, everyone is so helpful, polite & smiling all day every day. Food choice is limited in the main buffet restaurant however it was always good quality. Definitely will return to Thailand but probably would try a different location like Krabi or Ko Samui. Well done to all staff at Apsara and thank you for a wonderful holiday.

So perfect! Great range of food every day that was always fresh. Not too far from Phuket airport (think an hour twenty mins), but far enough away to feel super relaxed. The staff made us feel very welcome from arrival. The Karkinos cafe was superb! We'd really love to visit again one day. (Minor issue that the shower was quite low for my other half who was 6ft+)

What a remarkable place in my opinion, me and my wife just returned from our honeymoon we spent at this exceptionally clean and beautiful establishment. This is what me and my wife instantly noticed, how impeccably clean the place is, it may seem a small detail, but if the place is clean you know the standards are kept high. The staff here are exceptionally polite and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them to help you, they do go out of the way to assist you, and also with that famous Thai smile. I did feel a bit guilty having western habits and walking around without a t-shirt on (of which is better because you sweat very highly in hot weather, even sitting for lunch with roof fans trying to keep you cool) whilst this is tolerated, it did seem rude to walk around with out a t-shirt, in the Mediterranean that is fine, but the Thai people have impeccable respectful customs , it did seem a little naughty! Our bedroom was clean (goes without saying) and the air conditioning was very welcome, has it does get incredibly hot outside, and it's a tropical heat too, I found this out when my wet shorts wouldn't dry outside! Room service is excellent with attentive maids and staff again can not do enough for you if you ask, always clean towels and nice beach towels, and a bag to carry your items to the pool or beach provided! a robe (which I should have used!) and sliders are also provided (but they have that bit between the toes which I don't like) the shower is lovely and you can tell the water is treated and not surprisingly is very clean smelling! The pool's are lovely and sun loungers plentiful! the food in the buffet is good with theme nights and the beach restaurant (al'la carte) is excellent (even the wife who's a picky eater on holiday) enjoyed it. The beach is excellent, the sea very very warm, the swimming pools very nice and the very clever 'foot washers' for those coming off the beach to wash sand away! with a spa for a massage and nice walk on the other side of the river through the woods to the memories area is lovely with tree swings! Location is a little out of the way for local amenities, but taxi fares are cheap (Reception will phone for one if you wish) I recommend highly this resort or villa. The only slight nuance is the accommodation blocks could do with a lift installed, for those unable to use stairs or struggle with them.

The hotel is in an ideal setting right on a beautiful beach. Rooms are lovely and clean as is whole hotel. Food in buffet restaurant is good with plenty of choice. Both a la carte restaurants were good. All staff very friendly, but a special mention for Suzy on reception, so lovely and helpful and always a big smile, you made our holiday, thank you so much, we will definitely come back
