We spent two wonderful weeks at Anantara Kihavah in July 2024, and even a few rain showers couldn't spoil it. Both the villa (114) and the residence (106) that we were allowed to use were beautifully and stylishly furnished. You really will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation. There is plenty of space in both accommodations. Nevertheless, and this is really the only drawback we can name, the furniture (in both the villa and the residence) seems a little worn and in need of renewal. The location to the beach was phenomenal. Snorkeling on the house reef is simply a must. All the restaurants/bars (Plates, Manzaru, Fire, Sea, Spice and the Sky Bar) that we used were very good. The price level is certainly upscale, but it is absolutely justified and known in advance when you book a vacation here. You certainly won't get bored at Kihavah, even if you stay for several weeks - there is always something to discover and try out. Stargazing is also highly recommended. Here too, due to the local conditions (moon phase, weather), the staff (Ismail) looked for ideas and alternatives to give us unique experiences. Our villa hosts Azmeen and Ismail really did EVERYTHING to meet our needs and wishes. Sometimes it was even the case that wishes were fulfilled before we expressed them. Indeed! The concept of service and working with the guest is really lived out in a extraordinary way at Kihavah and is second to none. We have never experienced service in such a professional, cordial and exceptional form anywhere else in the world. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sugar, Ali, Priti, Azmeen, Ismail, Hafiz, Rooney, Jenni, Ye Ye, Abo, Tim and Dilrim from the bottom of our hearts - just to name a few, and please excuse us if we have forgotten anyone - unfortunately we no longer have all the names in our heads. Nevertheless, our thanks go to all the staff who looked after us so wonderfully. Not forgetting the management in the form of Maurice Fahey. Many, many thanks for all your support! We traveled with our son (4 years old) and have to say: they really did everything for children. Our child felt at home at every moment and they always tried to make everything pleasant and enjoyable for him. And of course we would like to dedicate a very special thank you to Joachim Textor. You were present at almost every meal, seeking closeness and conversation with the guests, which we found very positive. Joachim, you are not only an absolutely exceptional chef who creates, lives and designs food and provides phenomenal taste experiences. You are also a very special and unique person: we really enjoyed our conversations and meals with you. Many, many thanks for everything: for making the pasta, the caviar at breakfast in the underwater restaurant, the red and liver sausage from Alsace and the crackling sausages... :-) We feel a friendly bond with you and will be reading you! All the best for you!
