Official Description

This hotel is centrally located beside one of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba. It is approximately 5 minutes from the centre of Oranjestad and some 15 minutes from Reina Beatrix airport. The high-rise area with shops, restaurants, and casinos is a short walk from the establishment. Constructed in Dutch colonial style in 1989, the beach hotel comprises a total of 72 spacious and air-conditioned studios and suites with 1 or 2 bedrooms. The Dutch architect Jan Hubert designed the building, which is generously laid out, and offers a cosy inner courtyard, as well as breath-taking sea views. Within the complex, leisure options include a swimming pool with a waterfall, and cocktail or theme parties with live entertainment, also take place occasionally.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating all times of the day and night. Jennifer and everyone at the front desk helped us with taxi and restaurant reservations. The resort was spotless and a perfect location. We were in good hands all week!

This was our first time to Aruba. The hotel is on Eagle beach. This was a great location. The beach is beautiful, not too crowded. Hotel is extremely clean. Staff is friendly. Julio at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with questions and suggestions. The bar/restaurant at the hotel (horizons) was nice. Friendly staff good food and drinks. The restaurant (Passions) on the beach was also great. Great place to see sunsets. Good food as well. (Suggest to try to make reservations for sunset dinner as much in advance as possible since they book early). Overall great experience in a nice clean hotel.

From the moment we arrived to our last day we embraced the wonderful people who make this place so special. The special events Happiness Day (Carnival like entertainment), Earth Day (movie at pool with popcorn and goodie bag) and our final day we were part of a group of volunteers helping keep the area clean. Delicious dinner at Passions and Horizons with accompanied talented musicians. The staff are passionate about going above and beyond for all. Once you go then you know. The breathtaking views of tranquil blue/green waters are stunning while enjoying the constant breeze. Hope you enjoy this resort as much as we do.

Amsterdam Manor Wonderful!

We spent a week at Amsterdam Manor at the end of Feb 2025. What a wonderful resort! It has a warm, cozy atmosphere with the best staff offering terrific customer service. Guests return year after year and I have seen hugs welcoming them back. This is in the low rise section and fairly quiet which I prefer. It is directly across from Eagle Beach which is beautiful! Special mention to staff members Patrick and Jennifer who helped us with anything we needed! Thank you so much! They are the icing on the cake! I would definitely come again.

Nice hotel - nice staff - shame about the smell!

Hugely disappointed. We arrived early evening and on being shown to our seafront facing room, could immediately smell a sewer type odour. The smell had permeated into the room as well so even in the suite there was no relief from it! We called our rep but by then it was out of hours for them, so would have to ring in the morning, which we did. We walked over to the Hotels beach bar, but the smell was constant over there too! It was making both myself and my wife nauseous - it was that bad. When we first went out in the morning- the smell was still bad. Even the rep had to agree when she turned up mid morning. We left the hotel later that day and had to find another hotel down at Eagle Beach at an enormous extra cost to us. The manager said the smell was particularly bad at the moment due to a major pump problem at the sanitation plant behind the hotel. I would certainly avoid booking this hotel until the problem at the sanitation plant is fixed - which could be a long time!!!
