A Truly Unique and Luxurious Thai Experience

We stayed at Ammatara Pura Pool Villa for 7 nights and absolutely loved it. The entire resort is designed like a traditional Thai temple or palace—breathtaking architecture and a serene atmosphere throughout. Our villa had the largest bedroom we’ve ever stayed in, beautifully decorated with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful details down to the slippers. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order each day, which we pre-selected using an order sheet the day before—so much better than a standard buffet! One of the most memorable experiences was the complimentary Thai dress-up and photo session. Two friendly staff members, including one of the breakfast servers, dressed us in traditional outfits and took many photos around the property—such a fun and personal touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and truly Thai-style getaway.

Amazing villa with huge apartment-size rooms!

Ammatara is incredibly unique with traditional Thai design, extremely large villas that feel like apartments. The villas come with a fully equipped kitchen, a huge bed, large inside bathtub, outside shower, and outdoor pool. It is located on a quiet beach. I would highly recommend staying for a long time as the villa size is like a large apartment.

Amazing Stay, Fantastic Staff

What a pleasure it was to stay at this fantastic resort. The villas and surrounding resort grounds are stunning, giving the Thai village feel everywhere you turned. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, which enhances any stay. The extra touches, a surprise birthday cake at breakfast show they really care about the guest experience. The villa was spacious and clean with beautiful decor. The pools, our private and the main resort were fantastic. We will return!

A memorable experience is a Thai Royal setting. Excellent facilities, an amazing suite with a private pool and a splendid view. We felt so comfortable there that we hardly walked out the resort. Private, quiet, serene. Excellent staff service throughout. Won’t go anywhere else if we return to Kohl’s Samui
