Fantastic stay at the Grand Ambassador Hotel

We received a fabulous welcome at this hotel, everyone from pool staff, housekeeping, front of house and the Dionne Restaurant were warm and professional. Our room, which could sleep up to 6 was well appointed, spacious and clean. We had beautiful and uninterrupted views of the caldera, which I could have looked at all day. I am allergic to fragrance, and the hotel accommodated this well, great care was taken by front of house and housekeeping to ensure my needs were met. We very much enjoyed the Dionne Restaurant, the food was presented well and extremely tasty, the staff were knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The staff were professional but very friendly and we very much enjoyed their humour, our family enjoyed eating there. The front desk staff were also very knowledgeable regarding places to visit and helped us arrange trips including to Oia and on a catamaran. Thank you so much Grand Anbassador.

Firstly, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the team for their exceptional hospitality and excellent service during my recent stay at your wonderful hotel, especially the concierge Ms. Pepi. The hotel, built on a cliff, offers a unique experience as the rooms are constructed within caves. To reach your room, you traverse through a cave tunnel, which adds to the novelty of the stay. Each room features a private swimming pool, ensuring a privacy rating of 10/8. Breakfast is served à la carte, providing a variety of options to start your day. The accommodation itself is clean and spacious, comfortably accommodating two adults and a child. The addition of a private swimming pool enhances the overall comfort and appeal of the room My ratings are as follows: - Services: **10/10** - Cleanliness: **10/10** - Food: **8/10** - Location: **8/10**

What a place, from the meet & great till the end of our Holiday the staff were absolutely fantastic. Special mention for Dimitri & Eytychis in the pool bar. There knowledge of fine wine was outstanding (especially submerged !!) Will certainly be coming back

Wonderful, stunning hotel

My wife and I visited for 5 nights. The views from the hotel looking out over the Aegean Sea are absolutely stunning. We had a room with a private pool. The room was spacious and clean, complimentary robes and slippers are a nice touch. The pool was a decent size, being able to cool down in your own pool while over looking the sea is amazing. Breakfast was delivered to our room at the time of our choosing each day with plenty of choice and decent portions. The staff are very polite and attentive. Special mention to the staff at concierge who go above and beyond to assist with anything you need. They booke restaurant reservations, arranged taxis when we ventured out, gave great recommendations for places to visit and dine. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing Views, Luxury Hotel

We had a lovely stay at Ambassador, the views were amazing. We had a private pool with a sea view. The beds were comfy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I would say we found it to be very windy due to being so close to the sea and dust/sand does blow around so sunglasses are a must. We were disappointed with breakfast to be honest if I returned I wouldn’t purchase it. You had to fill in a form every day with what you wanted which was a little bit annoying but there wasn’t much choice and we didn’t find it to be that great. It was very quiet so great if you are looking for a tranquil escape, I don’t think I saw a single person in the main pool 🤣 The staff were so friendly and let us extend check out from 11 until 12 for free and offered the whole day to check out at 8:30pm for €100. We didn’t pay the €100 we spent our last day exploring and we came back very salty and sandy and the kind staff let us have a shower in another room which really was so lovely of them I wasn’t looking forward to sitting on the plane home full of sand and salt and suncream! Thank you we had a great stay and have recommended to many of our friends and family who are also hoping to visit soon
