The hotel is located in Oia Town, offering luxury accommodations compiled of a cosy atmosphere, personalised service and world class amenities. The hotel is 11 km from Fira town and 18 km from the airport and the port away. The edifice dates back in the early 20th century and was completely renovated in 2015 with respect to the island's architecture and the needs of the modern traveller. The 10 suites sunk in the volcanic soil are genuinely engraved in Oia's landscape. Wonderful Oia Hotel

What wonderful place Alte Mare By Andronis is. We arrived in Oia and after being picked up at the taxi stop made our way by foot to the reception, the manager carried our bags. There are cobbled streets and lots of steps so make sure you are wearing flat shoes! No vehicles go past the outside parts, it is mainly pedestrianised, so you have to walk a little way to the hotel. After welcome drinks and information we were shown to our room. We were upgraded from a Romance to a 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi which was lovely and unexpected. This is the only 2 bedroom and is accessed by going back up to the Main Street, a few yards along then down a few steps. It is a wonderful space with patio and jacuzzi where breakfast, which you can choose the previous night and choose time served, was brought to us every morning. It has two en-suite bathrooms and a lounge and kitchenette. Has a lovely view over the sea. We had a wonderful six days here. The pool which is back down the steps past reception has beds for 10 people and we were virtually the only people there even though the hotel was virtually full. The guys on the bar keep you topped up with drinks. Reception will help you book tables for dinner and make any other arrangements for you. They are extremely helpful. All the staff are fantastic and work so hard to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We will definitely be returning.

We visited in early August 2024 and had an unforgettable experience! We had a wonderful stay at Alta Mare with breathtaking views of the caldera. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided a super warm welcome and went above and beyond to cater to all our needs. It was a very comfortable and memorable experience. The hotel's location is great and the service was impeccable. So much attention to detail, it truly made us feel valued as guests. We would definitely return to this amazing hotel, given the chance!

Just back from my 4-day stay at alta mare by adronis in oia santorini and honestly it is possibly one of the best breakaways I have ever had. There attention to detail is second to none. Meeting with us at the transport drop off, taking our luggage direct to our room, complimentary drinks while checking in, complimentary drinks as we got to our room, breakfast delivered to your suite on time every time, amazing food, extremely helpful and professional staff. Accommodating us with late check out 10/10

This is by far the best hotel experience I have had . Excellent rooms , fabulous view and superb costumer service . The staff communicates through WhatsApp and responds within minutes . It was a wonderful experience . The hotel does require climbing a few stairs but other wise is perfect .

A fairytale dream come true experience. Beautiful hotel in one of the most captivating places on earth. The staff treated us like royalty. It literally felt like we didn't need to lift a finger during our stay. From the in room breakfast every morning that was top tier with everything you can think of for breakfast that actually tasted amazing, to the cleaning of our rooms everytime we left the room, to the organizing of our transportation to tours and restaurants, to the helpful porters who relentlessly lifted our bags up and down the many Santorini stairs, and to the personal touches they added that made our trip so romantic and unforgettable. Truly worth more than 5 stars.
