Like many others, I was apprehensive coming to the hotel after reading the reviews, but rest assured we had THE BEST time ever. Upon arrival (1am) we were checked in quickly and was directed to our room. The only thing I will say is that directions were very vague and we were staying in the 300’s of the hotel so we had quite a walk (hike) to our room with 2 cases but we found the fun in that and after around 30 mins finally got into our room. The room was basic, but very pleasant and clean. Cannot fault the staff, restaurant manager always said hello and smiled and nothing was too much for any of them. The shop workers had bad reviews but we found no problems with them at all, they were lovely too. The food is like any usual all inclusive hotel, however Greek night was our favourite and the BBQ food was incredible. If you’re looking for luxurious meals I would say it probably isn’t for you but if you are fairly laid back then you will be totally fine. There was a microwave in the restaurant if you need to warm food up too. The pool areas could do with a little refurb but we’re totally fine to be around. We staying around the main pool most days as this is where all the entertainment takes place, pools were nice and chilly so we could cool off in the heat. The entertainment team… wow, they made our holiday! Mikey, Tamas and Fredo were the highlights of our holiday, along with the amazing group of people we met whilst out there. Water polo became a daily competition within our group, as well as darts, and the beer pong got us all ready for the evening entertainment. The beer pong drinks were terrible but it made it ever funnier… then the evening entertainment was the icing on the cake for us with a variation of quizzes, tombola, mini disco, dancers, and my favourite, election night! We didn’t use the shuttle bus into town as it was always full, so we got a taxi down which cost around €10, but we managed to get the contact details of a taxi driver which was very convenient as we could just ring him up and he would be there in 10 minutes… most taxi’s are minibuses which was great for the big group we had so often only cost €4 per person. The shuttle bus also drops you off in the marina, and not the centre of Kos town so we found it more convenient to get the taxis. They do also have scooters you can use at the hotel and scoot down to the town, then get them back as well, which is what some of our other friends did. All in all we had the best holiday ever at this hotel, I do believe it was made special because of the entertainment team and the people we met out there, but rest assured the hotel itself was incredible with amazing views too! If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway, it probably isn’t for you, but if you want to chill, have fun, meet amazing people and have a great view, I would 10000% recommend this hotel for you! Thank you to all the staff that made our trip memorable! :)
