Official Description

The resort is located in the middle of the warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean, on the exclusive Meedhupparu Island in Maldive's Raa Atoll Area. The resort features an outdoor pool, private spa baths, personal butler and chef service. The air-conditioned villas are built over the Indian Ocean with glass panel floors. Everything was amazing, from the service to the food! Special mention to: Chamil, Iresh and Aiman from the water villa restaurant!! They were all kind to us, available and super kind! Best cocktails in the world Special mention to Addhu too, of course!!

Another 5 star stay in the water villas

Sorry for delay in writing this review, but I didn’t want to miss saying how fabulous this resort is. It was our 3rd time in the water villas and it didn’t disappoint. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Our waitress Arnie was fabulous but unfortunately she was leaving to get married. Nuaim was great and funny. It is always lovely to see the same great staff. The bar staff Lasantha and Chamil were brilliant, putting up with a few late nights! Cafe mass was a lovely change for a light lunch and here Hari was always smiling and diligent in his work. The whole island is lovely. Walking around is easy and the snorkelling is fabulous. Finally our butler Nirdosh. He is friendly, attentive and is a star. Bringing drinks to the villa and around the pool. He was our butler on our previous visit and remembered all our requests. Also our room attendant Aslam. Decorated the bed, kept the room spotless twice a day. Did a fantastic job. All the staff are amazing, and if thinking of going here do not hesitate. Can’t wait to return in the future. Thank you all for a fabulous time.

Perfect vacation.

This was our third time at Meedhupparu and we decided to stay for 3 weeks in a water villa Firstly we were assigned Nirdosh again as our butler, so we knew our stay would be exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble and Nirdosh is very kind, very service oriented and absolutely a 5 star professional. We look forward to seeing him next year. Aslam our housekeeper looked after our villa and us to a very high standard. Beautiful bed art and our room had everything we required. Nuaim, our water Villa restaurant waiter, was a joy, funny, clever and always knew our drinks and food choices. All the water Villa waiters are amazing and made our holiday perfect. The chef, at the water villas, is incredible. His lovely Sri Lankan curries are an absolute gastronomic delight. And would also make us Panko breaded reef fish, potato wedges and salad for lunch. We were so spoilt. The pool guy was very friendly and would always assist us at the water villas pool, fetching towels and our drinks. The water villas chief always checked on us to make sure everything was ok. We love Mongolian night in the main buffet, food is incredible and the waiters are very prompt with drinks. Main buffet is also great for a lighter lunch. Another good night is Suhura Indian restaurant, food is a delight and the waitresses are great fun, hardworking and very attentive. We love Albino bar, cocktails and views are spectacular. Sunset bar and the bar tenders are brilliant. Good fun, incredible memories for drinks and guests. We had 3 weeks of fabulous evenings here. Thank you. Kepi at the swim up bar is such a friendly guy. And definitely worth spending an hour or so there of an afternoon. Cafe Mass for snacks and drinks doesn’t disappoint. Thaava is ok. Staff great but if you’re in the Water Villas the food is better and inclusive. Repeaters evenings are very welcoming, we really enjoyed. The whole island, from gardeners to management, is such a friendly, welcoming, joyful place Maybe wine or prosecco in the mini fridge would be a bonus but it is accessible at all the bars. We will return. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday such a special experience.
