The room is spacious very comfortable, and with a magnificent view of the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is out of this world. The gardens are well maintained, and the outside bars are a blessing in the hot sun. There is entertainment in the upstairs bar every night.

Our experience at Akanthus Chenet Barut Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who made sure that every detail of our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is simply wonderful – elegant, clean. Every meal was a delight, with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality dishes that catered to all tastes. A key factor in our perfect vacation was the mini club for children. It was a huge plus for us, as our daughter absolutely loved it! The girl in charge of the kids was incredibly kind, caring, and full of energy, making the experience so much fun for the little ones. A perfect place for both relaxation and family-friendly enjoyment. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent relaxing stay at the acanthus cennet. Very luxurious including having a pillow menu! We felt very well looked after and had a really 5* star experience. From the start lovely transfer and welcome with a drink from the bell boy who showed us to our room taking our cases for us. Room was perfect with welcome gifts and with a side sea view. Very attentive staff and excellent food choices. The saffran restaurant is amazing. Would recommend and Ali the waiter particularly friendly and hospitable. The Lavanta restaurant in the evening is very poor I wouldn't recommend bothering to eat there. Quality of food poor and service a disappointment after the excellent experience in saffran with Ali. However the lunch time dining experience outside in the lavanta is amazing I would highly recommend going to the lavanta for lunch as a change from the buffet. The drink and food offerings overall are excellent and the staff very attentive. I think the idea of a QR code on the sunbeds to order drinks is excellent. I think perhaps this is also needed for the beach and around the pool bar instead of waiting for the waiter as it gets quite busy and they can't get around everyone. They work very hard. We travelled in the winter season but the weather was lovely 23 degrees however a lot of al cartes are closed so only 2 al la cartes. And the outdoor swimming pool was only 14 degrees so absolutely baltic. Biggest disappointment is the sun beds!! They are so uncomfortable I was sure they were missing their cushions. I asked at guest relations and they said there are no cushions and that several guests complain about the sunbeds and that they were hoping to get management to agree to purchasing cushions for the sunbeds. They suggested I shove a towel in the big gap in the bed to make it more comfortable but there was nothing else they could suggest. This is really very unacceptable for a 5* hotel when everything else is so lovely. Please management get some mattresses or cushions for the sunbeds like inside the spa. However there is an inside swimming pool within the spa for all to use free which was lovely including the comfy sunbeds. Mostly German guests at this time of the year. The staff have amazing use of English, German, Turkish and a few other languages. Nicely located with plenty of shops and walks to old city of side. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent and has a beautiful smell. All the staff work extremely hard to look after the guests. Particularly shout out to Ali in the restaurants and bar and Busra in entertainment who was very friendly and chatted with us a few evenings. Teşekkürler Acanthus Cennet

Second Barut hotel we have stayed at and it met our expectations. Hotel location is great on the beach next to a lovely walk way ideal for visiting the old town of Side , all the shops / bars and of course the ruins. A smaller than most , Beautiful hotel , lovely large comfortable rooms, great food , staff are helpful and friendly. Indoor pool , yoga with Tugda who also took time out to chat to us in the bar. This hotel is all you could want and more. I spoke to people who have been here 7 times! Hopefully we will return next spring as weather was sunny a cool breeze but you can always find a sheltered spot to sun bathe.

Very good please with good service. Very good activity with professional yoga trainer Tuba. High professional, she mades trainings very interesting, She is closely monitoring the process. It’s important 5 🌟 we’ ll come back to enjoy again
