The hotel is located in the best part of Side, on a golden sandy beach, 62 km to Antalya Airport and only 1.5 km to Side, where you can visit many restaurants, bars, discos, shops and historical places. It is set in a lovely green garden covered with native trees and is only a 15-minute walk to Side. There is a promenade by the beach where guests can take nice walks or go jogging. There is also a taxi service and public shuttle bus stop close by. Guests can enjoy their restaurants open at the hotel. The main restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and will serve buffet-style meals, also offering three themed nights. There will be also 3 à la carte restaurants where you can taste different specialities of Italian & international cuisine and Mediterranean seafood enjoying a candlelit dinner. We arrived 8.45pm due to a delay We were pleasantly greeted by reception and told the restaurant would close in 15 minutes so we had to dash to get something to eat. I would have preferred to have something ready for us on arrival as other 5 star hotels do if we have had a delay and it had impacted our evening. Our room Very clean and tidy with all the usual bits you would expect . Our view was of the pool and side sea , this was very pleasant as we could enjoy the morning sunshine before breakfast. I wanted to use my firestick at the hotel but the tv was not compatible? Very frustrating in 2025. The pool area Very clean and tidy,we had some sunny days so we were able to use the outdoor area, the beds were so uncomfortable that I could not lie in them for more than 10 minutes, I spoke to customer relations but was told there was nothing they could do which was really disappointing as other people had said the same thing in November , I would of expected this to of been resolved by maybe either placing thick mattress style toppers on them or replacing the beds as they looked old and pretty tired. The views from the pool area to the beach were beautiful and the staff at the outdoor bar were always pleasant. Beach area Previously the sunbeds were always amazing with super comfortable mattresses. This year only basic sun beds very 3star quality ,whereas Hemera had there thick sunbeds out.! Staff were all lovely food was excellent. Hotel could do with an upgrade as it is looking tired. Warning to anyone thinking of going when there is school holidays in turkey. Too many kids flying about on scooters around and inside the hotel, very dangerous and totally unacceptable for this quality hotel. It was like a kindergarten with them running wild all over the hotel I was also hit by a child on a scooter which was unpleasant but the hotel doesn’t do anything so maybe we will choose somewhere different for our next Turkish vacation

Tugba has been a delight her yoga and fitness classes are so good and professional taking the time with each guest to get the best from the activities. She is also so polite and.engaging especially mixing with guests in the evenings a credit to Barut hotel. Kind regards Amarjit and Gurdip.

Wonderful property and great exercise classes

We have had the most wonderful time at this luxurious hotel - the accommodation. staff and food have been first class. The highlight of my stay has been the excellent exercise and yoga classes held each morning and afternoon. Guided by the the extremely professional Tugba - perfect for beginners or advanced levels - Tugba is an assest to the hotel and makes such a positive experience to you exercise time at the hotel.

Noise horrendous

Nowhere to have a relaxing drink in the evening the lobby bar is overtaken by extremely loud entertainment usually a hotel has both a quiet relaxing lobby bar and another for entertainment this is just cost cutting and spoiling every evening by noise will not return give it a miss if you like to talk to each other

If you want a nice relaxing night in the bar don’t bother the entertainment is on so loud surely a so called 5 star would have the entertainment in another room so you can choose if you want the racket and the lobby bar should be relaxing can’t hear any conversation it’s too loud
